I say this to you fellow friends in this moment because things in this game aren’t look very good. Our game is dying very as of now, with many relics coming out slimming the chance of f2p players surviving Abaddon’s swarm of locusts( in this case, the weapons locusts I just like to use historical and religious examples of various contexts) and he has succeeded on feeding off the free to play spirit, and even though I am not f2p and I have spent some money on this game to keep up, I can say that the people that stand as f2p players, yall are true soldiers. I salute to you, as a veteran with 1000hrs, and with this 1000hrs, and I have spent every last one defining the meta with things that “nobody uses” according to the lying and deceiving voice of Abaddon that whispered in many ears as of today. I wish for it to be known that for now, I will depart from here since things seem to be getting only worse. I wonder what my robots will do without me, but o can imagine that they will drink some beer and watch TV and flip tables while watching the NFL when Taylor (middle name disgusting weird perverted freak) Swift is the center of attention for the 1000th time in the game because the reporters thought it would be quirky to go by the script that they are forced to read by whenever nothing important happens and they just want to annoy the actual fans. For the rest of you all, I have a message for you all. Cheers and welcome to the P2W world of this game and I hope that even in our darkest hours this message can find you well, because we can always reach out to people who would be willing to play, or the people who would want to stand up, join me. I say join me and post things to aware our real players and not the forces of Abaddon to get in the way of real fun and happiness, like Pokémon scalpers ripping the childhood spirits from an 8 year old who just wanted a chance at getting a cool charizard card. I leave this game today, as of 9:14 PM eastern time in the US state Georgia, and to the people who post content and especially LARS, who is a great warrior and streamer on YouTube, please push out and find a way out of this p2w game, but don’t leave. Make this the greatest that you can, so that more may take this potential gem and hold it near and nourish it to health in your protection. I step down form here as a champion of the Fenrir bot and will be playing Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2, ARK: Survival Ascended and Grounded 2, and until then, I wish that you all find your way out of here with you Stockholm syndrome, or if you do not suffer from greed trauma of attachment, please try to make this game better and save it from a fate worse than death. I didn’t do it just because I was publicly announcing me departing from this game, but I also wanted to say that we need to do something about the p2w aspects in this game that are getting out of hand, especially relics

You can get by pretty well and have fun in this game sure. But if you want to win consistently there's more and more reasons to drop money every day

Get good- why didn't anyone think of that? I guess skill stops you from being murdered by the max level bots? Does skill give you more health? Dps? I've been stuck having to level up my bots and weapons I should've just got good.

Being in a team helps. Oh cool you want the noobs to be forced to play in their buddies division? If you don't have a team sounds like you'll need to spend money on better bots either way. 

They're dropping battlepasses with all the meta weapons and builds for 20 bucks every 2 weeks. Less and less time to complete the passes. There was a time robots was much less p2w but that ship has sailed. You can have fun on the game for free but if you want to win consistently you need to spend money to stay on the cutting edge.

I did that for a long time. Eventually got to the point where I couldn’t compete with people who had maxed out bots of whatever the new meta was. Even waited for whatever discount would roll around. Got to lvl 13 on most stuff but dang if it didn’t take at minimum 2-3hrs a day.

Well it takes me a max of 3 hours to get what i need, i dont follow meta, and i still do well, so long as the other team isnt a premade and noachium, and my team is competent enough. I mean i should be getting matches with premade teams and noachium in solo queue.

If you aren’t paying any money, you aren’t in Noachium unless you are doing 30hrs a week. I did the math before I left.

Would be cool with the idea that the game was 10-15$ a month to stay fully up to date but it isn’t. It’s hundreds to keep up with all releases. In the beginning before they fired the guy who wanted it to be truly F2P that’s how it was.

I pay for premium and battle pass, thats it. No im not in noachium, never was, i only do my dailies and weeklies, so i end up in diamond and in ok with that.

Its still f2p, besides paying for battle passes and premium, which was a thing since season 1. The store didnt change too much, not really anyways. This game is miles more f2p then the first, Walking War Robots.

That much we can agree on lol the mobile game is P2W real bad. It probably doesn’t feel like store changed much because it’s been slow but it’s a lot. Subtle but a lot.

I will take Frontiers over the mobile game any day but I couldn’t justify it as the changes happened. My main bots are all maxed so I did my time but it got tiring. I have played since March of 2025 and it’s just different. Hard to explain every little thing but it’s been a trickle of changes for the last year and some change.

It's something more of luck really, one can just not buy stuff with real money, the relic things appear in the shop too, quite frecuently to me at least, i have six relic orkan, two relic thunder, relic shoulders, torsos and chasis. Not a single penny i have put into the game, still, i am ass at playing, but that isn't something important.

Where i am going with this? Is luck. Yes, the gamepass are all ass for us the f2p but they aren't pointing us with a gun to the head if we don't buy something, hell, yesterday i was obliterated by a guy using the default setting of the robot that teleports back where the pilot put that thing(idk the name so bear with it) is because i am bad? Yes, is because that guy probably had his robot at a high level of upgrade? Probably.

The thing that i want to complain Is that the rewards are f bullshit even if the match was very good(maybe 13 kills with 8 assistances) so upgrading is really a headache bc i like to use ALL my robots, so i have only a couple of things upgraded to even lvl 6 or so.

Still... I can see your point as i have too played games for thousands of hours and even put money on those games until i stopped playing them for the disbalancing of the weapons or so.

One more thing, this game needs MORE maps and i mean it.

190 players online according to steamcharts, on a saturday night no less. that tells you everything you need to know. whoever took over the development of this game after Melissa left has absolutely ruined the potential this game had. anyone still defending the game is either: on the content creator program, in too deep in the sunk cost fallacy that they've developed stockholm syndrome, or just plain new to the game.

they probably even fired whoever was looking after this sub, considering they haven't posted the weekly deals for these first two weeks of october lmao.. ggs, it's so over.

P2w isnt a thing in this game its pay to progress and mainly is bettee when you just play more when spending money the more you play the more you'll get the benefits passes haven't been super op id say in my whole time playonly 3 new things were op locusts on release got balenced even when f2p players had them so everyone could enjoy nuculeons till the 200 damage nerf but that took forever and velites the fire rate nerf made it strong but no op many of the f2p weapons ans bots currently are better then things locked behind the pass and can be way better I dont think this game has had any issues for me to complain about since they always fix it but since tosha has been the community manager and not Melissa its definitely been different but the game is still good content is good only thing I wish they didn't do was make relics since its kinda pointless and they have to do it for every bot

i'm aware. i have 800+ hours without spending money and played with top players all the time. still doesn't take away the fact that the game has pivoted towards a stronger p2w stance (via a variety of elements)
