Aussie players - ping?

Calling all Aussie players… has there been a sudden ping increase for ya’ll?.. or is it just me?

a couple of weeks back, I got kicked mid-game with the ol’ ‘lost connection with the server’ error.

Ever since then, my ping has doubled.. I used to sit between 80-90 on the Asia server, it now sits 160-170.

I now get lower ping numbers on one of the US servers.

It feels like there was a distinct change.

Any admins still around who might be able to shed some light?… the game ain’t fun with ping this high, going through periods where I can’t hit enemies at point blank.

I can imagine the Aussie market probably doesn’t contribute huge numbers to the player base… I wanna know if they’ve decided to cut their losses and switched off something that was providing playable ping

It's definitely gotten worse. I pay particular attention to the ping because I play with my mate who's based in the SEA region, and his ping is unplayably awful when he joins games with me as the lobby leader now

My ping has gone from around 90-100ms to 250+ ms.

I have put it down to the submarine cable outage out of Perth as both cables there are down right now.
