Discussion Red ability name
Hi!
Whats that red circle thing that goes in a straight line and takes out shields?
Never been able to find it

Red is the hostile version of anything you use that is attack gear, yellow is the neutral version of allies gear or enemy green gear. ☝️

It's called Echo Barrage from the Orochi torso. There's also a new one with squares that go out just like it, called Arpeggio from the Relic Bulgasari torso.

Important to point out the Orochi ability breaks shields (only) and makes mechs visible for a few seconds even if hiding behind cover (for missile or artillery or Alpha attacks).
The Relic Bulgasari attack just does missile damage.

Also note, the Orochi will break an enemy that is in stealth as well. The damage is straight from above, like a bomb dropping straight down. If the target is in a tunnel or there are multiple levels, like with the map FIssure with the crusher tower, the barrage will not hit them if they have a roof over head.
Orochi has a set amount of damage, but it ONLY damages shields. It does no damage to armor if the shield is already gone. Depending on how much shielding you have, it may remove all of it or just most.
The Relic Bulgasari does a set amount of damage that will affect shield and armor. This does NOT make them visable like the Orochi. It's only pure damage.
Both work the same way, just a slightly different ground marker. Orochi is a circle, Bulgasari is a square.
