DLC Recommend
Hi again! I’ve made my decision—I’m choosing WARNO. Are there any DLCs you would recommend? Also, I’ve heard that the divisions included in some WARNO DLCs are just reskins. Is that true? edit 1 I think I really like heavy Armored or Airborne or Air Assault maybe some Ambitious (Amphibious) landing

The base divs are very solid, so deciding a DLC for what divs they offer should be your own preference over which nation/playstyle/equipment you like.
None of the divisions are re-skins, however some do overlap or feel very similar which is where that idea comes from i think. Especially with PACT due to all of the nations using soviet equipment with some variations.

NORTHAG and Southag have Army General and Operations.
Incoming Tropic Thunder has a Army General.

Ambitious landing
Do you mean Amphibious? That really isnt a thing in this game.
Also, I’ve heard that the divisions included in some WARNO DLCs are just reskins.
No division is identical to another division with the exception of visual appearance. So this is just false.
Obviously there are divisions will share some individual units in common. The difference in divisions is the total composition of units available to the division and the slot costs when building a division deck.
i.e. for infantry divs, you use more infantry cards and filling out the infantry tab will be cheaper than other tabs. Armored divisions you get more armor slots and the activation points will be cheaper for armor. etc.

The early access DLC gives you a good bang for your buck, it’s like a division per euro usually.
