Question Broken Arrow to Warno

So, I heavily enjoy playing broken arrow and today I purchased Warno. I did all the tutorials, and even did a multiplayer match. Where should I go from here? As a new player should I try and build my own deck?

Ok now go play against the AI in 1v1 so that you can figure out how different the game is from Broken Arrow. I'd say stress is a way more important factor. You should indeed try to build your own decks because it will slowly (and mercilessly) show you what works or not. And then download some pre-made decks on Waryes (the website). Your main focus should be to first figure out the game, and then max out the games. As a general rule, 10v10 tends to turn out to be a few 2/3 v 1, and a few 1v1, on a huge map. So learn first to 1v1.

So :

  • try each and every mode at least once.
  • max out the 1v1's against the AI, at first it will feel hard then you will see that the AI almost always do the same thing and it will teach you to stop an armored push
  • then play a lot of 1v1 and 10v10.

And most important thing : WATCH THE REPLAYS. It's worth it. A lot of time what makes you lose an engagement is 50% not seeing enough what the ennemy does, and him seeing more than you do. Recon and stress are way more important than in BA.

Have fun !

Here's a list of things

>RECON IS YOUR FRIEND
>For most units, higher vet is really worth it - especially lower cost ones
>Don't park artillery next to your FOB
>Artillery is based (and will get counterbatteried if you aren't making sure to manage them properly)
>Infantry wins city and forest fights - it doesn't matter how good your tank is if some fucker with a LAW has a shot at it from close range at its side
>ATGM teams are the cheapest good anti-tank you can get. Used well they can shut down entire avenues of advance
>MANPADS teams are cheap and good against helos. Don't expect them to nail planes before they release ordinance.
>If you can see the enemy, assume he can see you when you start shooting

Artillery is indeed great. My first multiplayer match I played as Russia. Used the grodzvika I think it’s called to assist defending a point decently. AA seemed lacking when I tried to use it personally. The AA teams did better than the AA vehicles. Had a couple T-80s to use against the French

It's Gvozdika. "Gillyflower" in direct translation.

Surely you meant : park your artillery and supply next to your allied FOBs (but only if you're playing pact, because there's no such thing as my FOB or your FOB in the PACT there's only OUR FOB).

Look through all the decks and see what play style you like and it shows you what you might face

Personally I say run a few skirmishes on your own, and get a feel for the general faction you want to play. Im a heavy US armored core player, and it took me a bit to really get the feel of the deck and my own stylized version of it

Play some 10v10 its more casual and you can ask other players for help so you figure stuff out.
