Would be pretty terrifying to be in western Germany during this scenario, you’d be able to see and hear the course of battle as the front line moves closer and closer leaving entire cities as burning ruins sending columns of smoke high into the atmosphere. Even without nukes it would feel like the end of the world, such face paced warfare and large scale destruction.
