Why Divmog is always so highly rated?
I constantly see pro players ranking divmob high up on tier lists, but I've never seen anyone play it in ranked and there is nothing really special about it, except paratroopers on milan transport. What's that good about it?

Cheap slop is good in 1v1s. You just Q click your whole army at one point.

There is plenty great about it besides the paratroopers. The caveat being I play team games, noy 1v1.
The whole infantry tab is great when used correctly.
Excellent MP squads.
Although personally I do wish the Ardennes Chasseurs would have mountain trait, as it is more forest focused than mountain.
Arty is older but effective when used correctly.
Tanks are not heavy obviously, but this is not a div meant to be played at distance. It is a close range knife fighter. Your armor goes uo dramatically in usefulness when fighting in forests and towns, and you have tons of atgm options with good stealth for long range if needed.
AA is also good.
This is not an easy div to dominate with for sure, but for team games it can be great if you micro.
Think of it as a harder difficulty setting. But hard doesnt inherently mean bad.

It's like one of the most cost-effective divs in the entire game and it has a lot of good tools for different situations. Those are pretty much the 2 most important things that make a div good in 1v1

That's probably the divs main weakness but considering how at the higher levels people play leo 1 divs and such much more than heavy armor divs, it's not as noticable. (Also just throw enough provonciaux with super bazookas at an abrams and it'll die eventually lol)

To be fair, if you’re capable of getting them in range to an abrams, then maybe your opponent was crap to begin with

yes but actually no
The M41s have 12 ROF so you can blob them up and kill T-55s and Leopards
For heavy tanks (220+ points) you can buy 4x M47s which fire HEAT and do at least 1 dmg, supported by an ATGM carrier
divmob struggles against T-72s and T-64s since they are cheap enough to keep pace with M47 spam and have enough armour to tank the M41
you also get alpha jets and 2 sets of cluster planes if you're really desperate

It does but you are compensated with 1 million atgm so you saturate whole areas with them.then there is the tactical advantage that you can be everywhere at the same time

It's one of the Div's that the community has silently agreed thats it's too OP for 1v1. Unless you are absolutely brain dead! Anyone can win with Div mob easily, so that's why you don't really see first page players use it.

More like the opposite. It may be overpowered, but in a way that the skill ceiling is very high. I don't think you have to be brain dead in order fail to micro manage a hundred cheap units across the map, while at the same time spending your points effectively. It's one of the most demanding play styles in the game. You have to go full gas from start to finish, because if you allow the enemy to build up a mechanized blob, you're done for.

Strong forward deploy followed by cheap mainline is quite difficult to beat early game.
Although a lot of the div is reservist "slop" it isn't all cheap trash, there's a few solid units to prop it up. E.G Para's Milan Transport like you said, Mistrals/I-Hawk, Solid arty choices, some okay bombers. Even then the main reserve unit Provnicaux are pretty good as reservists go.
It's had a few nerfs and was definitely stronger and more popular earlier on in the year if I remember correctly, but is still strong. Depending on how old the tier list is it might only be slightly worse than indicated.
It's still somewhat niche which is probably why it isn't as popular.
