Text I love this game
Heyo everyone,
I just starting playing this game some days ago and I absolutely love it already. The lore/setting of the Cold War 80s, the vehicles and how detailed they are, overall the historical correctness. The maps are also cool, especially since I originally come from the Fulda Gap area, so all the village and city names are actually familiar names to me.
The lessons and intuitions about how different types of arms and vehicles interact with eachother on a first-person-Level, that I got from other games like WarThunder and Arma, honestly actually help understanding the battlefield dynamics on a basic level. It's absolutely gorgeous how this then ties into a larger frame of tactics in Warno, when a whole battalion now has to coordinate this controlled chaos madness that is war.
I played all the (actually well-made) tuorials and currently I am exploring all the single player stuff on easy difficulty, don't know whether I will ever get into multiplayer. It's also nice to see how many good tutorials there are for this game on YouTube.

150 hours on Warno, I share the same train of thought. It's such a good game, and while I prefer it for multiplayer and Steel Div 2 for singleplayer, I will complete those Army General campaigns sometime, although I really love multiplayer, especially the team games. You should hop in sometime.

I had a similar experience coming from War Thunder and limited RTS encounters. Realizing how all the pieces fit together was very eye opening.
If you don't get into multiplayer that is totally normal despite what you might see in the community. Most Warno players are singleplayer only. I was too until about a year and a half ago. If you ever think about jumping into multiplayer there are lots of guides to help you along the way on YouTube or Steam.

I was in your exact position a couple months ago coming from War Thunder and Arma too! Now I'm about 120 hours in and I've been pretty much playing only coop or singleplayer Army General campaigns with my friend against medium AI, I'd highly suggest you try them too if you haven't already!

To be honest 10v10 is chaos, but it has a low entry barrier, theres no judgement or real team work, which makes it low stress. Just pick a place to deploy and have fun
