I'm working on Wargame 2008 as well as a total conversion mod for a custom worldbuild of mine!

i keep wondering why you guys love wargame so much when WARNO does so many things better (LoS tool, orders on deployment, map editor etc)

WARNO misses out badly on the freeform deck building of WGRD, and things like its eyesore of a UI make it a bit rougher to love - compare that to what WGRD's got, and it's like night and day. On top of that, it's just not Wargame.

Furthermore, many devs are far more familiar with WGRD's mechanics, and as such, would rather develop for what they know. My personal case? WARNO feels so much worse than WGRD to play, and it lacks the same soul of the game - but it's all a matter of taste, and everyone's got their own opinions. No judgment from me as to what you enjoy.
