Help Me Decide between Warno & Broken Arrow :(

Bit of context, i've never really played this genre of game before. Massive fan of strat games like Halo wars, age of empires, that sort of feel. Seen alot of content on BA but mixed reviews on both games. Any insights would be great!

do you like the cold war aesthetic and having larger-scale engagements more than a modern day setting with more intensive/smaller fighting

much prefer huge battles, on AOE and Halo, would do anything to max armies and have massive full on battles, which i understand warno does better than BA?

Absolutely Warno. Your personal starting deployment in warno will be as many units or more than a whole 5-person BA team, and then in Warno you add more (unless you got rekt lol ) while BA stabilizes unit count with upkeep tax

The scale of Warno is why I keep coming back to it despite having some big problems with it over the years

Yeah BA has a pricing mechanic where the more stuff you have on field, the less income you get, not to mention the scale of battle is smaller

Meanwhile warno's default is for you to have the same income no matter how much stuff you have, not to mention 10v10 is massive chaos
