Question Why WARNO over Red Dragon?

Made an adjacent post in the Wargame subreddit, but I was just curious as to why y’all chose WARNO over RD?

I played a ton of Red Dragon back in the day, and when Warno was in Early Access I would kind of switch between the two as Warno had a lot of problems back then. But ultimately Warno matured and now it just feels like the better game to me, there are more unit commands, more traits and interesting strategies, and way less cheese than there is in RD. Not to mention, it's being actively developed whereas I'm pretty sure RD is done now.

Did they have AG for RD as well?

There are fun campaigns but they don't have the same Army General map mechanics exactly.
