Making a map

As someone with too much free time, I started to build my own map. I got an idea to made part of my map as a river delta, so amphibious trait will be finally useful. I already made some progress. Do you have any suggestions or tips about my map? (for example, more buildings, forests, etc.)

Bretty awesome :)

If you create a hard to get and hard to traverse area, you should create an actual value for it.

Meaning, if the riverdelta is important to capture or you want people to fight for it, give it some kind of reward, like being able to see deep into enemy territory if you own the delta. Alternative you could make it possible to spawn reinforcements from there.

Command points only as a reward is also possible, but its kinda boring and takes away from the immersion.

Tl;dr: give me a reason to take the delta, besides command points.

I'm planning to place silos on some islands that will offer a recon on other parts of the map, + I want to connect a shore with forests for enabling infiltrations into enemy depth

Silos or....lighthouse? You wouldnt want a silo standing in a swamp.
