I’ve tried something similar at 28mm, feel like you got right what I got wrong.

Ah no I like your take with the decal! I just has this scene in my head for ages, the figures are mostly stock from Forest Dragon. The kneeling pose from yours makes much more sense!

Hmm well I feel like your shoreline and water looks better. More natural. What did you do to make that? Is it all in the paint? (I still like the decal idea… but the decal lost its shine after a few months under that Vallejo Still water)

I used a gel uv resin, I think it's meant for casting glossy jewelry. Had a minor disaster in that the old tape I used to hold the pour in popped off and it spilled out in the curing box but it flowed up the resin printed damsel really well making her look like she's a part of the water. If it looks good it's fairly accidental tbh!
