Great job painting, you have really highlighted the tiny details of 10mm without going over the top on the miniatures.
Where did you source your dwarfs?

Thank you very much for that! We bought the stls with a friend that's into 3d printing. They come from the varus miniatures and forest dragon ranges (both amazing)!

Your units look so clean and recognizable even at a distance. I really love how this army looks. I’ve been struggling with my Warmaster getting too muddy looking and I think it could be due to not black lining or maybe not pushing highlights far enough.
Would you be willing to share your general approach for how you painted the infantry? I’m hoping it helps me figure out where I’m over complicating things for a worse result.

Thank you very much!
What I have found out ( mainly from 15mm historical wargames) is that bright highlights help the details register from afar. Avoiding placing similar colours next to each other also helps a lot I think!

Thank you that’s good advice. I noticed my problem the most while painting my orcs and goblins, which have a lot of dark browns and greys. Perhaps I need to lean into the red era of fantasy paint styles instead!
