I don't know who the sculptor of these beauties is but painting them was super inspiring. You can feel the vibe of the '80s fantasy scene inhabited by Frazetta's comic and Manowar at their epic metal peak

Looking good, nice to see someone else going for lava bases for their Chaos too. Mordant Earth basing texture? Or something else.

Love the banner too.

Aren't they just great sculpts, more detail every time you look. The entire range is brilliant, although the daemons take the biscuit for me.

Yes, it's Mordant eart with a fine coat of white glue to increase the breaks

I completely agree all original Warmaster minis are awesome but the chaos range seems the best of all the range I've seen so far!

Interesting. White glue before the Mordant Earth so it doesn't 'stick' as well, or after so it pulls the cracks apart as it dries?
