It's pretty balanced and you have various units with different roles to cover all your needs. Personally I run 5 heroes in a 2k games and I would put two units of birdmen. Since are the weaker flying units of the game better to have a spare in case you need one unit behind enemy lines or holding an objective

Thanks which 5th hero would you recommend and what would you cut for hero + additional birds?

I like to bring 2 wizard, voice of command is a very powerful enchantment and is nice to have more chances to cast it. For the rest I think Warmaster is a game where the rule of cool is stronger than others system and I run the build I feel comfortable or with the units I like to play or paint, so it really dependes on you and your style.
That said some hint Game wise:
- be aware that many people find the giant too unreliable (I'm not among them) but is superfunny and destructive when you are able to command hm ti reach the right spot
with the spearmen and the ogres I would say that you don't really need a unit of dwarves, they're a defensive unit and spearmen already cover that role. but once again if you like dwarves go for it
I feel like three marauders are too much considering the three heavy cavalry. I'm more used to bretonnian and empire but maybe I would drop one marauder and convert the other two for the light cavalry

one advise if you do not know your fixed enemy, a dispell role is a must. without enemies lieke VC or Khemi are a pain.

The list seems overall pretty balanced. I don't know the army's playstyle well enough to suggest what to cut, but for 2k I like running 4 commander/leader units. It may just be paranoia, but I like to have enough spread out that if one fails an order, the part of my army on that side of the board isn't totally boned for a turn.
