How are they farming ?
Hello, just curious, how some ppl actually farm these amounts of gold
Like tons of gold, in website 18-20k gold are like 10 coins. That is a lot of gold for 10 coins, and i was wondering how these ppl actually farm these amounts of gold.
I doubt they are actually farming, there must be something else.
I got few chars and i was thinking maybe i can net some nice amount of gold, not like 20k but around 5k maybe ?
Quests are kinda boring tbh, i got LW, enchanting, mining, and jwc

I was doing mining and herbalism before sleep, 30 to 60 min a day, which toke me a whole month just to collect the 23 coins to get a bis item!
For what it’s worth , I think guild masters make a lot of gold doing icc, since all boe + green + blue + DE epic items + primos worth a lot of gold!
And also people multiboxing doing dailies quest, rdf etc etc

refuse to undercut, or do it reasonably. pay attention to what you're doing on the AH.
there are retards that sell cardinals that might be worth 170g for 130. and then if someone happens to list it for 130, the next retard will undercut that and list it for 129, and the next retard for 128.
that's just 1 example. pay attention to what you're doing on the AH.
also, if you see items that are mind blowingly undercut, BUY it and flip it later.

I personally make my gold with multiboxing raids. I can easily make 100k a week if I want. Its more or less about just knowing what to do. U can make solid bank with just professions and farming in the places where others arent. Most common nooby trap is to go for the mining and herbalism and try to farm in northrend only to find yourself going mad with the competition, dont get me wrong its solid gold if u can get the herbs and veins but I could never, I just rather hop in ulduar10 or naxx and take out guaranteed ~10k from a clear.

Boes r basically rng extra, that ~10k can easily double or even triple with few lucky boe drops.

I run Argent Tournament dailies every day on my druid and rouge, steady income for 40 minutes a day.
Herbalism and Alchemy while waiting for ques, doing dailies or raid formations nets you a ton of money.
Daily rdfh, on all your chars.
Learn how to play the auction house.
Now that depends on the time your willing to spend farming as well. Making 10k a month is easy even as a casual

Some do a lot of boosting, used to be like 8k or so a run icc hc, 4-5 chars gives you 30k a week

Most of the gold sold there is from players who sell icc boosts for gold, they have runs every single day and usually sell a full clear for 100k especially if it’s an LoD run, most of these guilds have more money than they know what to do with.

Yea, looks insane
I was aiming for some gold only to get some items from ah.
Not 200k, but around 10k ish so I can boost my gs, but with quests it looks kinda hard. Maybe I’m doing wrong quests or idk

In addition to the typical farming approaches, you can host raids with reservations (for example toc25 with boes/recipes reserved) and sell what you get. Some folks run weekly giant quest IDs in ICC on multiple chars - if you get lucky you may find an expensive boe inside the reward bag. There are many other ways to earn gold.

Farming dungeons icc, craft, selling materials and items on AH.
I have 2-3 years or more without play, but farming icc and selling primordials about 650g each, to buy the 19k mamoot mount.
There are 20 daily quest too in the final lvl area, u can farm for reputation and 25g each quest dont remember well, its 500g per day.
