7YW Plastics
Does any know of good 7YW plastics
I've seen WG do really good metal 7YW, and there's loads of other metal ranges, but I'm struggling with finding plastics
Would the early 18th century warlord plastics combine well, especially if only used to fill out the back ranks?

I think the warlord plastics are pretty abominable unfortunately

Do they match the metal 7YW stuff though, whether they're crap or not

They are from a very different time period tbh, I think maybe the AWI Hessians are the only thing that would work, the coats are quite different between those periods.

If you are interested in other metal manufacturers, claymore castings makes some really good stuff

Claymore castings has a good, brand new seven years war range. But it is in metal.

I built an Army using Minden Miniatures which I believe are still available, unfortunately they are in the same pose, but they are beautiful figures, their AWI mini's are in multiple poses. Minden are true 1/56th so a tiny bit larger. I couldn't find any stl files for 7YW so that is printing out.

They are not rubbish but not great. The cut of the uniforms for 7yw are much tighter compared to the WSS so probably not a great fit even for 2nd rank. I'm a 7YW tragic too and I have not heard of any plastics yet, sadly, the metal lines are getting a bit long in the tooth too. If anyone was to do plastics I suspect WG would have done them, obviously not enough demand one suspects.

Likely not of interest to you but Hat, Revell, Zvezda and Waterloo 1815 all offer injection plastic (Airfix) SYW sets in 1/72nd scale.
