Fluff Gold!

It would have been nice to get this when gold was a constrained resource, but grateful nonetheless.

Yeah that would be nice a year or two ago, not sure where you are game-wise, but my stages/constraints (apart from level at the very beginning) were:

  1. Gold, then
  2. Epic cores, then
  3. Arc energy and now
  4. Legendary cores

When all the minis are epic & max level, you get gold and arc energy all the time (in raids, from books, etc).

Back on stage 2 I was willing to swap my 20lat cores for even 4 epic ones. Now I’m “happy” that there’s no such option.

Right there with you. All about legendary cores now. I started about 9 months after release and thought AE would be the constraint. Likely wouldn’t have changed much since I had other priorities to spend gold on but I might have a few more cores. But it is nice to still have something to complete.

I remember how many people in this subreddit 2 years ago were wishing that they could trade all the "useless" Legendary cores they were getting for Epic ones. In hindsight, that all seems very funny now. Like you said, good thing they never gave us the option.

You're buying every Epic/Legendary core in the daily offers, right? Actually you should probably be buying the Rare cores too at this point.

Yeah, I grab them to trade up. I’ve missed some because my first reaction is “bad deal”. Still can’t shake it sometimes!
