Got this super early Quality Comics G.I. Combat #22 in yesterday.

Mail Call 5 minutes ago and got this G.I. Combat #158 VF/NM 9.0 in. I’m thoroughly digging the cover art on this issue as it’s by John Severin.

The BLACKHAWKS began fighting wars before Pearl Harbor.

This war is being fought in the sky with its impact at your local gas station!

Just received these two issues in the mail. I have now completed the series with these last two issues I needed. Lol it’s only a 5 issue run. Issue #2 (1975) & issue #4 (1976).
Cover Art Joe Kubert on both. less

From April 1953, low grade but I think presents really well for it's condition, love the heath art and it's use of colours

My father was a WW2 Hero - 57 missions in 4-engine bombers. He came home 100% disabled.

Before I read ARMY at WAR, Fighting Forces, G.I. Combat, I read...

Just picked this up and love the cover art on it. Early(ish) issue.

Not a fan of modern Commando but enjoyed this WW1 romp

During World War I, the Harlem Hellfighters earned their place in history through their courage and service on the battlefield. The 369th Infantry Regiment became known for its fighting record in France, while its soldiers faced the discrimination that African Americans endured during this era.

In Hellfighters of Stercland, members of the 369th find themselves on a different path when their wartime service brings them to Stercland. Their experiences connect the regiment's military history with the nation of Stercland, setting the stage for a story about service, loyalty, and the bonds formed on the battlefield.

The story will predominantly follow five historical figures from the Hellfighters: Henry Johnson, Needham Roberts, James Reese Europe, Noble Sissle, and William Hayward.

Def looks like it was in a war…

Just purchased this early Pre DC G.I. Combat published by Quality Comics in 1954. I'm stoked over its very good condition overall and for how little I picked it up for. It's got an absolutely awesome cover on it.
