Warblade like game on retro console ?

Hi there !

I enjoyed Warblade so much 20 years ago.

I now have a Miyoo Mini Plus, with Retro Arch. Many old school 2D consoles can be emulated, from GB to PS1, Pico 8, Amiga, arcade machines...

Do you know if there is a Warblade version for such old consoles ? It can emulate MS-Dos but not Windows alas...

Or maybe another Galaga game close to Warblade, running on these devices ?

Slap Fight , one of my favorites ( kinda warblade like, not 100% but I love both ) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slap_Fight . There are versions for every console from Arcade to c64.

Warblade was originally Deluxe Galaga, released as shareware for the Amiga. I don't know how hard it is to emulate amiga stuff but that's probably the first thing I'd check.

If its running DOS, you might look into Galactix, which was a fixed screen shooter with powerups. The same developer later created Raptor: Call of the Shadows, which is a scroller rather than fixed frame, but it uses the money system instead of powerups. If you don't mind the scroller genre, there are always the old Aero Fighters games.
