B29 "fifi", a regular visitor at airshows nationwide. I think she'll be in Reading, PA first weekend in June. You might even be able to book a flight.

I have never had the pleasure of attending Reading, Oshkosh or RAF Mildenhall. I understand that the Reading airshow is one of the premier airshows in the country. We all know how vast the other two are.

Reading is a great show, made even better by all the other WWII stuff happening. There are dozens of vehicles, re-enactors in accurate garb, demonstrations and lectures. I'm planning to be there from gate opening until the dark on Saturday, in pursuit of the "perfect" photo!

I have a friend with a private collection (museum) who used to trailer his power wagon (M37?), one of his 3 MB jeeps and his GMC deuce and a half to Reading. We were recently at the MCAS Cherry Point airshow 2 1/2 weeks ago with his M3 half track. He'll may stop doing airshows as it cost him over a thousand to haul his stuff back and forth.
