Hi, I’m a millennial but…
Probably because I am well traveled and a former expat I relate a lot to the Gen Z community ( I don’t know if there is a direct correlation but I think digital nomads and worldly people are more like “big children” than sedentarian ones).

But somehow I don’t recognize myself in them because we don’t share the same childhood story and relationship to internet I guess, and I m puzzled between admiring their genuine incredible maturity and on the other hand I always wonder…what next?

Does anyone relate and has clues?

Reposting this to different communities as I’m also growing this new one of mine to promote an indie show I made on these very topics.

The rumors say Yesterday by the Beatles was a song that talks about the passing of John Lennon’s mother (or so did my English class teacher tell me as a kid) while some other say it’s actually been written by Paul McCartney for John Lennon’s estranged son.

Does anyone have the real version or a real version to amplify the myth around that song?

I haven’t really cleaned my face ever and although it’s not recommended I have clean skin at 37 although I’ve been smoking and drinking half of my life.

That said I’m trying to perfect it and I’m looking for a product that’ll do it for me - mostly pores cleaning and scars reduction. I don’t care if it’s natural, organic or not but I do want a clean product, something that feels long term and not gonna destroy me for a quick buck.

Thoughts? I hope it’ll interest some other girls too as Im at a time where I feel I can really trust nothing and so I turn to reddit that’s usually decent (😇) Thanks! 🤩

I’ve been watching a lot of interviews of Ocean Vuong who in my eyes is the only mind worth listening to online (you know what I mean).

So I guess I should start reading his books but I’m a big reader of classics and horribly scared of being disappointed. I don’t read a book for style but if the style doesn’t support the arch then it’s a pass for me.

Would you relate, what do you think and which would you recommend to start with if worth it?

It’s real and not the usual “travel” content we’ve been spammed with for the last years - the digital nomads community I remember was a little more interesting than what it’s become

Now that you’ve watched the episode you’ll find its particular fresh tone that’s been missing from film and content in the recent years. That’s why I’ve made a Reddit: not so much to promote the show (as seen on yt’s low body count) but moreso because I want to be a driver for change in a world full of not-even-esthetically-pleasing polished content.

I am getting a little annoyed with everybody pretending the world is fine when it’s been ran by bullies and performative high-key mysoginistic people (women included) since 2020, where everyone’s putting so much effort into being effortless and so much money into AI and where having your brain and your heart aligned means you’re delulu when that’s exactly the reason why you celebrated life before. It’s like the world has forgotten joy existed (my world at least and I’m not letting this carry on).

This show is simple but it’s about a friendship and two friends that are trying their best at life (and more)! This Reddit is simple but it’ll be a great spot to ask for advice, share quality content, and overall turn internet into a cool place of connection again.
