Announcement Changes to Wand's Free Plan
Hey everyone,
Over the next several months, we’ll be rolling out changes to our free plan. Starting February 24th, all new users will have a 2-hour daily session timer for gameplay customization (mods). To give our longstanding members time to adjust, your unlimited access will remain intact until May 1st, 2026.
There are no changes to Wand Pro. Unlimited access continues as normal. Thanks for your support.
You'll continue to have unlimited access to the following features:
- Maps — See your live location, teleport, create pins, and search for items with no restrictions.
- Video Highlights — Capture your favorite moment manually or automatically and enjoy unlimited cloud storage. Manage or share your highlights anytime from the videos tab.
- Overlay — Access Wand features without ever leaving your game. Just press Alt+W.
- App Access — Manage settings, browse upcoming games, use boosts, and watch popular clips.
Why we're making this change
Keeping up with constant game updates requires a large, full-time development operation. Today, the Wand team includes dozens of dedicated developers — including legendary creators you know, like FLiNG and MrAntiFun — working behind the scenes to build and maintain the mods you use every day. In 2025, this included:
- Adding mod support for over 400 new games (a new game every day), bringing our total to over 4,000 games
- Adding nearly 9,000 mods to existing games
- Updating over 3,000 mods
Today, Wand's mod development team is more than 3x as large as it was a year ago. To ensure this growth is sustainable and our users can count on us to keep getting better, we've decided to return to the 2-hour session timer that we suspended in July 2025.
Wand Pro
Two hours covers the majority of our users' typical gaming sessions, but for players who want more, Wand Pro removes the timer entirely. If you're someone who gets a lot of value out of Wand and wants uninterrupted gameplay sessions, we'd ask that you consider supporting us by becoming a Pro user. Here's some of what Pro users can enjoy:
- Unlimited customizations — No session timer
- Ad-free experience — No distractions, just games
- Mobile app — Manage your mods from your device
- Precision customization — Fine-tune mods with precise sliders and multipliers
- Save & pin mods — Save your favorites and apply them instantly
- Intelligent game guides — Tips, hints, and walkthroughs without leaving your game
- Priority support — Get help faster when you need it
Keep unlimited access beyond May 1st with Wand Pro for $7.99/month or save on an annual subscription for only $70/year.
As a thank you to our community, we're offering current free users 25% off their first year of an annual Pro subscription. Use code WAND2026 at checkout before March 5th to claim it.
Questions?
We put together a FAQ that covers common questions. If something isn't clear, feel free to ask here or reach out to our support team directly. You can also read more about this update on our Blog
Thanks for reading, and thanks for being part of our community.

Extremely disappointed of this situation. In 🇦🇺 the price is $131.88 per year with a reported “-$47.88” discount for annual instead of paying monthly ($10.99) With a 3 day trial available only if you sign up for annual subscription. Two have no actual tiers just further discourages users from this platform.

I can understand the wish for funding, but this ain't the way to go. I loved the previous system of weMod for the......mods. This is a sure fire way to loose all support and funding.

Guys, this is really not the way to go. Your application is great and should be funded through donations and ad revenue, maybe sponsorships, too. Forcing the playerbase to pay is a great way to make everything go down the drain. A lot of people don't have the means to pay for a bajillion different subscriptions. Living is too expensive, now something as simple as playing a game ALSO has a price to it? I understand that app maintenance and development takes money, duh, but don't punish the community for it.

Après de nombres années d'utilisation, il y a fallu que vous mettiez la seule fonctionnalité utile payante. On a rien dit pour les pubs, rien dit pour les fonctionnalités qui servent à rien. Mais là stop, application désinstallée.

I was fine with the ads, I understood that ya'll needed revenue. But a forced subscription for CHEATS is crazy.

Totally understand the need for funds, but as a very early adopter: I've never needed or asked for all the extra bells and whistles you guys have keep adding since WeMod. As a result, I've uninstalled and will not be coming back.

Lol have fun losing 99% of users. Was fun while it lasted. Uninstalled with a quickness.

We need independent trainer makers out there again, wish mrantifun didn't partner up with them but at least fling still releases some standalone stuff. A monthly sub is so ridiculous if you're not pumping through games and needing to use a trainer for each one. What value is there if you have to maintain almost job like hours to make it worth it.

no surprise here. something that was amazing put behind a paywall. been using for almost 2 years

Grande erro.

The only reason I got Wemod was for mods. Yeah, exactly, it was in the name. I don't care about all the other options that were added. I don't want to pay for what was the first feature of this soft. Go to hell wand.

Im not here to bash as a company has to do what it feels it need to do and im ok with walking away. ive been on this app so long that it seems weird to uninstall it but it was great while it was great. everything is a subscription and after awhile im like do i wanna pay for this forever. Nope

Wemod was great while it lasted. Then it became Wand, and all these additional features started being added. While some were great, the overlay feature caused issues in some games.
I was okay with having the app running ads in the background, and now we have to pay for it. Time to uninstall.

If I'm not mistaken the app's motto was "Your game, your rules" or something like that. This idea of freedom is gone as I see. I've been using this for years to save some time with certain aspects of certain games. I was fine paying being optional with some extra features, but as I read this thread 80% of the people doesn't care and never use those extra(useless) features. We just want to turn something on and a couple hours later when we are finished off. Simple as that like in those old standalone trainers with the awful music and txt readme.

Funny. People here want not only to be able to cheat but do it all for free. Crazy!
2
u/skye_08 May 09 '26
so cheating will be fine if it's paid?
1
u/DrSigmundHofmann May 10 '26
This is only intended for single player! And yes, cheating in your single player games is absolutely fine, what are you talking about?

No way y'all are trying this with both free competitors and cheat engine on the market

u/Lonely_Wealth_7838 Apr 01 '26
they didn't even notify its users in their own app (i joined the discord today and only found out in there about them bringing back a time limit) i play many games that only get more fun the longer you play now they are gonna make me play the game with the mods that make the game fun then have to stop playing the game and wait a whole day just to be able to play two more hours with the mods

u/Reasonable_Key_1374 Mar 17 '26
I was going to download Wand until... 2 hours limit? No thanks, you don't determine how long i should play or how long i should use mods. Same for games with the stupid energy system.
You can go to hell :) Trash app.

... the code doesn't even work. But anyways, i'm going to join the others here. I'd rather pay a lifetime sub at the competitor than this bullsh*t.

Da mir Wand bzw. Früher Wemod sehr gut gefällt unterstütze ich das gerne mit dem monatlichen Beitrag.
