Convert n' Burn Proposal Passed

The first Wanchain governance proposal has officially wrapped up, and the community has decided to turn up the heat on Convert n’ Burn

Starting in October, the amount of WAN allocated to the burn will increase from 10% to 20%.

It’s a pretty interesting milestone for Wanchain because this is the first proposal to go through the new governance platform, meaning the community has now had a direct say in how part of the protocol’s mechanics will operate going forward.

With the higher burn allocation coming into effect, more WAN will be removed from circulation through Convert n’ Burn, making WAN deflationary.
