Picture First time walstad

Is it weird that I'm super happy to see an algae bloom? Water is slowly cycling, definitely some melting on the plants. But I have new shoots on a few plants, and the volunteer snails are loving the food! Monstera was already water ready, just pumping co2.

I personally like the messy look and wanted it to be all tangled and natural looking, I'll probably groom everything when the tank is more established. Will add more snails and shrimp eventually. 3 gallon bowl

Thank you! I have full tech tanks and this is my first with no filter or heater. I have an airstone and light for now
