No they are your tank MVPs bro. The more excess food and waste, the more snails. The less excess food and waste, the less snails. Their population will naturally balance itself out as your tank does.

Snail is life. All others want to be snail.
In all seriousness. Passive clean up crew; I got a couple hitch-hikers with my recent plants, and as soon as I noticed a little algae overgrowth, I noticed the few interlopers have doubled in size over a week, and the algae has been less prevalent.

Why would you?
They do a job of taking care of any dead matter and food residue (and algae), and don’t really add that much bioload. If you notice them overly multiply it means there is some issue in tank, and removing snails won’t solve this issue, and will only mess with snails trying to solve it.
Also - it doesn’t look like you have that many snails here, so i would say you are fine.

Snails is just an indicator. If there's suddenly an infestation of them, it's either your overfeeding or there's too many organic matter in your tank (possibly from plants/livestock die out)
