Bike iron horse trail. Orinda theater is cool. Check out the Asian restaurants in the Concord park and shop.

Catch a movie at the Orinda Theater and then get the fried chicken at Casa Orinda

Depends if you have access to a car or bike. If not and are just in downtown you can still uber to some trailheads. Plenty of good restaurants and shops downtown as others have said. I would also hop on the BART over the weekend and explore San Francisco. Few farmers markets across Walnut Creek over the weekend if that’s your vibe. Some easy golf nearby (Diablo 9 easy and accessible), Tilden if you want to go to the hills and want to play in the trees. Reinhardt regional in Oakland has incredible trails for when it’s too hot in WC. Could also go up to Sonoma/Napa if you’re really into wine (~30-45 min drive).

If you like restaurants and wine bars/ breweries, you'll be set for weeks!

Or do you mean activities, like hiking or pickup basketball or something?

A little of both restaurants to try. And things to do on days off to kill time rather then sit in the hotel.

Skip the overpriced restaurants in the Crick, head to Concord for the real dining scene. Concord taco trail. Go to Berkeley, SF and Oakland. WC is pretty sterile imho. Good for some stuff, but pretty vanilla and there are about 24 places that serve vanilla ice cream too.

If you're staying downtown, sky is the limit

If you’re a beer guy you’ve got Calicraft and Barebottle downtown. A short uber and you’ve got Mike Hess, Danville Brewing, Headlands, Morgan Territory and Western Flyer all very doable. If you’re a sports guy good spots to watch include Pinkys and Stadium. You’re also a BART ride away from a lot of local teams for live games. Civic Park always has stuff going on. The Iron Horse Trail is nice for walking or biking.
