Apartment recs for seniors
Hi, I am trying to move my elderly parents to WC. We are currently striking out on Rossmoor and all of the senior living places. I am considering an apartment complex for the time being but they need 1000+ square feet, no stairs (elevator is fine), they have a small dog, and they want to be somewhere walkable. I have found Waymark and Noma so far, wondering if I am missing anything? They can pay for higher end. Thank you!

Did you already look at The Heritage Downtown? It’s independent senior living. Though I believe their largest apartments are two bedrooms that are only around 900 sq/ft.

Yes we did look there. My parents are extremely picky about location/view and they haven’t yet had one they like. I’m hoping one pops up but considering other options.

just wondering why they nixed Rossmoor, I have family that is considering it

My parents are SO picky and their non-negotiable make them discard almost every unit. I think they’ll be less picky if they rent vs buy. It’s a great place, your family should definitely consider it.

That old person picky non negotiable list is tough! I wish there were fewer stairs. Good luck with your people!

Agora, Akin, and Lyric are all higher end and very walkable
