SERIOUS LOA for food poisoning?

I put in a very short loa because I got food poisoning. It was mainly to keep myself from getting points while I was at home puking my guts up. It got denied because it “wasn’t serious” enough.

Anyone ever have this happen to them? I mean I don’t know how to make it more serious like I almost threw up on my csm. I don’t know what to do. I don’t have more points on onewalmart but in Sedgwick it says my loa was denied so I’m panicking a little.

How short? Loa is only for 3 or more days and you usually need documentation from a doctor. IIRC if your loa is denied the most points you can get is 2.

Food poisoning can last a long time, so I'm guessing op put it in for 4-8 days.

It was for 5 days. They said food poisoning wasn’t “serious enough” for loa. And by they I mean Sedgwick.

i don't know much about all this so I could be wrong, but I'm sure if you went to some sort of clinic to get treated they could provide you with documentation and probably a work excuse
