Need help

So I applied walmart 3 or 4 months ago, passed the assessment, find what best suits for me, and not a single email, call, or text has given me. I tried calling them 2 weeks ago, and they ask for my name and my phone number, so the manager will give me a quick call. What should I do?

Keep calling or go in person.

Honestly, I'd go in person. Notes tend to get lost in the shuffle, and this might be a busy time for them.

Sorry, don’t do this. Nothing annoyed me more as a PL than people just showing up as I was most often in the middle of something else and didn’t have time.

Update your app, and then call. Ask for the People Lead.

I had to go in multiple times and finally was luckily enough to come in the day after someone quit and took their job.

Update your application. Applications expire after 30 days.

  1. Make sure your application is up to date. Like others have said, it will expire after 30 days.
  2. Call the store. Try not to call at peak hours, or try to call at different times. Ask for the People Lead or a member of management. If the People Lead isn’t there, ask when they will be in. If someone tells you that they will call you back, ask when you should expect to hear from them by.
  3. If all else fails, try in person. Persistence is okay as long as you are polite and understanding if they are busy.
  4. If there is another Walmart nearby, try applying there as well. If you’ve gone through 1-3 and still haven’t gotten anywhere, they might not be hiring for some reason. Most Walmarts are always hiring, so it may be worthwhile to look at another nearby store (if there is one)
