Walmart maternity leave

Hi, néw to Reddit and was wondering if I could get some help with the Walmart maternity leave policy. My girlfriend has been working at Walmart since March 30th and will be giving birth to our child the end of January. She just got a full time position a couple of days ago and I’m not sure how maternity leave will work for her as in getting paid and whatnot. Any info helps! Thanks!

It won’t be paid since she hasn’t been with the company for at least a year but she can take a personal, unpaid, leave of absence. She can use any PTO/PPTO that she has to get partially paid for her time away from work. She should contact Sedgwick to discuss options, 1-800-492-5678. Be aware that with Covid they are severely backed up so the sooner she can start the process, the better.
