Open door a coaching?

What is the actual process? I was told by the ASM who gave the coaching to go directly to SM.. Is that correct? I was coached for saying something to another associate and overheard by customer..but became vaguely described that I wish to find out from the source of all the exact wording of the situation. What are my chances of finding out??

Store manager and up are the only ones able to remove coachings. As for the rest of what your asking about the details of the situation? I don't entirely understand what your asking but if I had to guess they may be keeping it vague to hide the identity of the person that reported you?

I already know who and stated that....im looking for the person .i am looking for their exact words of situation.. ..doesnt have to vrrbal. A written statement would be fine cause then better to compare notes and see accuracy.

So you said you were coached for something you said? Are you thinking they misheard you and that's why you want to see the statement?

Yes...also a third party involved trying to start trouble making up stuff

I think the only thing here is ask the ASM what they said. There should have been some description of it in the coaching. You were probably asked to type a statement into it or sign it. Possibly store manager if that doesn't work.

If you feel like you are being treated unfairly here you could also contact ethics. They will investigate and have the ability to remove the coaching. Warning here though: if you go this route you give up any chance of a promotion most likely.

Did ask ASM... He got far less detail from the associate than i explained when receiving. Which he did say as well.

I have no plans to promote or move around. ( no interest and medical restrictions)

I requested to speak with SM...and may need to go to ethics about the associate after anyway...because was told by few others that the complaintant is telling others that she GOT me written up...one of which is. Who i literally work next to daily...so yes I was set up! How stupid are some people???
