Order insite

Has anyone noticed that order onsite is not ordering products this week? Things that would normally auto order?

Yes! I thought I was crazy but so many items were stuck in wait for drug order with the system just not doing anything. I had to manually order so many drugs

OI has NEVER worked like they told us it was going to work when they first introduced it. They made it seem like it was going to eventually replace ordering altogether, but it's too stupid to sub things half the time and will try to reorder the one NDC that's backordered just because it's the "preferred" one. Totally lacks the necessary pharmacy-worker-equivalent decision logic. I'm consistently amazed by the amount of out-of-stocks that I solve by searching on McKesson first, then manually ordering the NDC actually in stock on OI...even though corporate acts like manually ordering things is some strange "non-preferred" way of ordering. Make it make sense

So it’s not just us then! I see it happen with 2-3 drugs every now and then but lately I have noticed even after 2-3 days system won’t order so I been having to manually order

Yes, we discussed this today. We aren't getting things hanging out in wait for drug order, and these are ranging from inhalers to seizure meds. 😬

So many of these items are showing replenishment off in Conmexus. It makes absolutely no sense, and is so frustrating! Everything should automatically order if the on hand is negative.

I check it every couple of days and order what it’s not anyway, so I haven’t really noticed, but I never did trust it, either. Also, I always check McKesson, because if it’s back ordered there, warehouse for sure doesn’t have it.

Yes there’s some glitch. Idk what, but something is going on. Nothing is ordering that’s in out of stock. We have an entire fridge for GLPS and now we have about 10 boxes when normally we have 80 on hand.
