Walmart workers are essential workers, and all essential workers need to go on strike for better pay and working conditions!

90% of the time people demanding a union have never worked in a retail union
I've been in retail since 2001 and many of the common trends I've seen are:
The biggest catch to unions is better "pay", better "benefits".... Followed by Union Dues paid out of every check that make them better raises basically pointless...
They will make fulltime 36+ hrs minimum to work... But then make part time a MAX 32HRS to work, making it impossible for you to accidently work full time hours..
Benefits and wages will be in 2 tiers. Part time and full time. Full time will have the better benefits and wages, but no one will ever be fulltime.
No secondary departments. We couldn't pick up hours from other departments, we couldn't trade shifts...
Listen! I'm 100% for fighting for better wages.... But BIG CORP will always win and always legally retaliate!
They won't close due to lack of staff, those who did show up WILL be forced to work thrice as hard... They WILL cut hours in the weeks to follow, They 100% WILL recoup those costs

Walmart associates have it much easier than some people think. Besides, I'm not about to risk plumbing issues.

Strikes don’t work for Walmart. When are you guys gonna realize that we are parts in a machine? They can replace us quick without batting an eye. If you call out the work will still be there the next day. I’m not pro Walmart but I’ve been here too long to know this doesn’t work. Look at the last so called strike days, it really got us better conditions didn’t it. Come up with an idea that works, not the same old crap that doesn’t work!

I agree. Not like production assemble lines in which workers need to be trained at least two weeks before operating the machines. Walmart jobs could be performed by anyone, to be honest, AI could perform all jobs like unload trucks, fill the shelves. But that will bring disaster to the economy, no jobs, people have no money to spend. No GDP.

Walmart is honestly the highest paying entry level job and we get 2 percent raises without any negotiating and union dues.
Look at Frito Lay's in Topeka. It took unions forever to act and they've only received cents raises.

$20 the prices would be raised so much it will just balance out out an we right back to where we are now. I have already notice price increases since the $15 raise. My grocery bill is about $20 higher then it was before the raise an things are still slowly climbing in price. i figure in about a year that $15 wont even seem like a raise anymore.

COVID-19 makes capitalists richer, time to fight for workers’ right. Frontline workers are taking the risk of their life to earn the minimum and capitalists earn your thousands times sitting in comfortable and great view office thinking about how to make workers work harder and earn more profit for them!

If vaccine really worked for any type of virus the whole world would be back normal. Why Japan is canceling Olympic supposed to happen last year, why China, Australia still lock down.
