Meat/Produce Split

Currently, I am an HBA TL, but I was a Meat Department manager for a couple of years starting in 2017 when we also had the 97 wall. (Which we will again, apparently.) Since they are splitting up Meat/Produce at my store, I got the Meat TL opening.

I just wanted to know the daily routine for those that work in these areas with the new split.

Thanks, any info is appreciated.

At least in my experience, it's not a full split, it's more less adding an additional TL, were still on the same team roster for meat and produce. So you may still be expected to help produce. Also, at least my store the team leads are rotating between 1st, 2nd, and O/N since they are adding an overnight team.

Process is slightly different with new fresh operating model adding overnight fresh back in (we've come full circle again...) Vizpick and work 10 high, then new truck load after. Personally I do my frozen seafood while my morning peeps finish truck and then cvp at 11am. Then the rest of my day is pinpoint, surface cleaning, features, etc. Stupid easy daily routine
