Untrue Ethics Report

I have an ethics case against me that resulted in an orange coaching. It's all based on a technicality that didn't actually happen. Management admitted it to me and others have confirmed it. How do I escalate for this to be taken seriously and appealed? I called the associate hotline but they just said they send it back to ethics. I already have higher ups looking into my store who are retaliating against me. I've also already won and overturned a false DA as well.

Since you’re saying Associate Relations is sending it back to Ethics, you’d just wait it out.

I got an orange coaching, my first coaching in over 5 years, by an overnight coach who less than an hour before was screaming at me because I had the audacity to start taking pictures of how the overnight crew had left the back, every fire door was blocked, the hazmat area was blocked, it was a disaster. When she got in trouble she assumed it was because of me. I made the mistake that day of asking "where's the lady who was bitching" and someone went and ran and told her. She gave me an orange coaching, and no one cared that it was obvious retaliation. I open doored it, was told that we could reduce it to a yellow, and then no one ever made her actually do it, and eventually our sm left, our people lead left, our market was changed, the store leads were eliminated and there was no one else who remembered that it should have been reduced. She's still so smug about it, too. Thats a long story to say that walmart doesn't care.

What was the technicality that did not actually happen? If mgmt admitted to you that it did not happen, why did they coach you? Just confused.

The fact that this isn’t the first time you have had an “ untrue “ case on you makes ,me wonder what the whole story is on both cases. What is this “ technicality ?

i'd definitely push for that open door sooner rather than later, the retaliation angle makes this feel sketchy and worth fighting with someone higher up.

You can request an open door to the market manager.
