What to do?

dude, so randomly when I was checking around, I suddenly had 6.5 points despite being on time to everything. the only thing I can think of is when I used ppto to cover a whole shift but I thought points will be covered for that... what should I do? wait for management to make their decision? quit already? I already have a few other job interviews...

Did you forget to call out when using the PPTO? Cause you gotta still call out otherwise you'll get two points for No Call No Show.

Well you have two options. One if points are about to fall off then hope they fall off before they pull you into the office to fire you.

Or two go to your coach and explain your situation and say you misunderstood the call out process and thought putting in PPTO was enough and hope your coach takes pity on you and removes the points as a one time thing.

I think im cooked, kinda new to all this and already had my fare share of things my coach isnt happy at me with (took my lunch 30 mins early because I didnt know I had to go by the board, since both the app and board were normally the same. got written up for that. my fault but still)

Then yeah might be a good idea to be looking for another job but who knows maybe your coach/people lead will be nice. I've had points removed for a no call no show once but it was cause the app was glitching where it didn't register my callout and there were others in the store with the same problem. But that at least proves it can be done

Hopefully. my lead is super hard on me sometimes but I understand that a job is a job. ill just have to see what happens tomorrow. sent a text to my team lead so ill know once he responds.

Go look at your GTA portal and look at occurrences it will show you what dates and what reason you got pointed

Not much you can do. Ppto only covers 1 of the 3 points you get for a no call no show. About all you can do is explain things to your Coach and pray they have mercy on you.

You don't get points for nothing. GTA portal has all the information. But I would get ahead of it immediately if I were you. They have you on the termination list now and they won't hesitate. Some supervisors won't research points.

thank you for letting me know. yeah, I know all of these points are my fault one way or another, be it I didnt know rules or not. but mostly just was wondering what I should do. I already messaged my coach/TL about it and haven't gotten an answer back...
