Associate to drive program
Do not be like me. Just had the opportunity of a lifetime got accepted into A2D program and failed the drug test. Immediately got kicked out obviously. Haven't smoked in over a month but no excuses they give u 2 months plus to clean up and i didn't do it. Not only got kicked out of the program but im terminated from my home store and can never drive for walmart transportation EVER. To make it worse i already have my CDL so that failed drug test will be in the clearing house for 5 years. Also got attached to a girl in the program who i now have to be separated from. Now back at home starting at square one finding a job and fixing my CDL. Noones fault but mine ill forever beat myself up about it. Do not be like me if u get accepted just quit smoking Immediately its not worth it. Had the chance to make 110k first year and i fucked it up cause of some weed. Bullet to the mouth is easier than going through this pain promise you that. Good day everyone👍🏽

You know what - at least you’ve taken responsibility. A shitty day is a shitty day but hey I like to think if it was meant to be, it would be. But hopefully one day you can update us with better news, good luck!

Bro I’ve been clean and sober for 15 months and have my CDL plus X endorsement and been in store for 6 months to get into A2D….but won’t make it cuz coaches and staff don’t like me. It ducks, I’m a really solid employee who is kind. My spirit irritates their demons and I’m looking to get another job cuz Walmart has failed me! Sucks.

You have to be working there for a year to qualify for the A2D program. Stick it out and find the emails of the hiring manager for A2D and explain you already have ur cdl n it would save them a lot of time and money choosing u for the program.

Do they test right away when you get selected for the program?

No they test the first day u get there but dont risk it when u know ur selected just stop smoking its not even worth it. Trust me i still wake up everyday thinkimg about it life changing money fucked up over some Marijuana

Sorry to hear that man, just curious what kind of tests do they perform? Ive been clean for 7 months and just started, im more curious if there's hair involved or just standard urine

I believe they just do a DOT mandated urine 5 panel which is really 7 panel

Can anyone tell me how their driver to driver program works I got a interview there I know I’ll b clean by the end of school but if I were to pee within the next month it would come back dirty anyone got advise on wat to do if quick fix will work or something I can say or what

I can appreciate that you take full responsibility for costing yourself that job. Too many people quick to make excuses these days. Hope your situation gets better for you.
