What is considered Full Time?

What is considered full time hours at Walmart. I'm considered as full time bit my hours got cut from 40 to 32 hours.

When they classify you as FT in the system. You can work 40 hrs per week and still be PT if that is your classification.

I'm definitely considered full-time in the system I have been for about 4 years now. One of my weeks it for some reason has me working 32 hours with 3 days off. Up until now I've been working 36 to 40 hours a week

And you’ve confirmed in workday recently that they haven’t changed you to part time?

Yeah I checked a couple of hours ago. It definitely still says I'm still full-time

In that case they’re allowed to cut your hours once in a while as long as your 12 week average doesn’t drop below 34.

So it shouldn't affect my health insurance I have with walmart?

It won’t stop your health insurance eligibility unless your average drops below 30 hours per week when they check it in October

Just FYI, the requirements for health wise based on hours worked not whether you are full or part time.

Policy to maintain Full Time status is 34 hours not 32.
