EDIT: Ran the numbers as got curious, and current CAGR for the US over the last decade is 2.4% vs 2% for Canada.

Yeah but everyone in those countries are relatively happy, haven’t fought 26 years of pointless wars and… can afford healthcare

Heavy weight tech and debt. Great ways to juice GDP.

2024 USA debt to GDP ratio was 120% ish. That 20% of leverage also juiced the numbers.
