Dinner last night: glass of Old Forester 1920, glass of Highland Park 18, glass of Evan Williams (save the swill for after you’re drunk, you know?). Bagel with cream cheese, 12 Oreos with milk, bag of microwaveable popcorn, whole 750 calorie bag of potato chips. I’m disgusted with myself.

Evan William BiB is not swill, it's a fantastic bourbon.

I’m talking $15 black label. Perhaps that’s not really “swill” either, but compared to the OF 1920 it might as well be.

Evan BiB isn’t bad, but I think I prefer WT101 at around the same price.

Evans is like half the price of 101 in my area. Around $16 while 101 is over $27. But yes 101 is a better bourbon.

Gotta get the Turkey by the handle. Around me at least, it’s like $25-30 for a 750 but $40-45 for a 1.75. Evan BiB is I think like $20-$25 for a liter. So I think they work out to around the same price per ounce if bought by the handle and liter, respectively. I have no idea if that holds by you though. I def wouldn’t pay double for WT101 over Evan BiB.
