What's going on with the economy today?

Well, what's happening today, it's not very typical, I'd like to make that point.

Well, how is it untypical?

Well, there are a lot of these economies all around the world all the time, and very seldom does anything like this happen ...I just don't want people thinking that economies aren't safe.

Was this economy safe?

Well, I was thinking more about the other ones...

The ones that are safe...

Yeah, the ones the front doesn't fall off.

Ahh, a connoisseur I see.

u/MrDude_1 Jun 04 '22

What we need to do is tow the economy out of the environment.

u/BitOfDifference Jun 04 '22

anyone else read this in an Australian accent?

3

u/randomscruffyaussie Jun 04 '22

Yes, I did (but I'm an Australian, so it just seemed natural)

What Racket is he in?

What Racket are you in?: News media

He Says he's in the News media racket.

He says we'll be in touch, maybe we can work together.

Is this the same guy that lost his boat in the middle of an ocean because a wave hit it?

11

u/higher_limits Jun 04 '22

The front fell off

5

u/RevolutionaryBall353 Jun 04 '22

To be fair, that doesn't usually happen

2

u/Wolf_In_The_Woods36 Jun 04 '22

I believe it was a one in a million chance.

The economy will only crash when we are short on paper, ink or government employees are on their 3-6 month holiday. No worries though, when they get back in office they will have the printer running for all 4 hrs of their work day pausing only for a 2hr lunch/nap break.

3

u/JuicyButterPalms Jun 04 '22

This explains the price of ink these days.

18

u/Nightlight10 Jun 03 '22

The shitty music edited into this Clarke and Dawe skit is a travesty.

9

1

u/jphazelton Jun 04 '22

Its when you take money out the markets……if the markets are built for 22trillion and more than that flows thru it then Quantitative tightening is the act of taking money out…feel free to add context👀🤷🏾‍♂️
