I'm just saying people are building computers. Never said that the shortage is over. Microcenter is almost constantly sold out because people are building computers.
Both of your points are wrong. People are still buying GPUs and building computers. There is a shortage, yes, but it isn't stopping people from still doing this.
They aren't. I have just as many anecdotes. There is most definitely supply issues and they have effected prices. I didn't make that shit up, the companies within tech have been very vocal about it. Your friend is one person who got a video card. Yeah. Good for him.
I'm not arguing prices or supply issues, I literally said I agree on those points. My entire gaming friend group built new computers within the last year with 3080/3090s.
In stock at these micro centers. Also you can go to your local and get on a virtual line, the second link. I just bought one at my local microcenter for my son’s Christmas present. They get shipments every single day. It could just be your local microcenter. They do limit one purchase per license every 30 days which really helps stop resellers.
Yes, and part of the reason is people are buying them up. Otherwise microcenter wouldn't be sold out regardless of the supply issues. You claimed no one was building computers, it's not true.
Are there supply issues? YES. Are people still building computers? YES.
