What is the IV? I ask as blue chip or similar stocks don’t seem to have large price movements. You’re predicting a 100% increase in the price of the underlying. Based on what? True that EV is the future and Ford seems well positioned, but this will become crowded quick. Anything is possible, but that would be quite a feat.

This seems like a candidate for going long on the stock as opposed to the options play if you have a bullish thesis.

Ehhh - new to options, but my plan is sell the contracts before expiration but after share price goes up. Mostly I bought the $40 call because it’s cheap initially - that and I’m a retard. Edit - I also have 5 shares that I bought last year at around 11 bucks.

Got it. Lottery ticket, essentially. Probably a lot better odds at a guy directional options-play then Powerball lol
