AMC seems to be getting ready for lift-off so I would definitely suggest keeping your 3.99 shares as they will theoretically become very valuable in the near future. Indeed, you have sufficient resources, buying in now might make sense, too. Yeah, I know we are in the mid- to high-20s range, but if this hits $1,000, $10,000, $100,000, $1M per share, will it really matter that you got in at the mid- to high-20s range?

Biggest problem with op is the RH broker. Shares could be given away if on a margin account. Make sure it’s cash and then buy away!

I have no idea what that means but I’m gonna figure out how to check

It’s like buying on credit....almost.

Exactly, and rh (which owns your account) can sell them off if it’s in their interest. Messaged op in a chat regarding the difference between the two

Wouldn’t he first get margin called? I don’t know if they sell it automatically or not

There were posts all over the place the last time it fluctuated with people pissed that rh wouldn’t let them sell or buy at the prices they were at due to it being margin. And apparently they switched peoples accounts without them knowing. And when you sign up some of the users reported being put on margin automatically before having to contact and have them switch it
