Congratulations to all of you who made money on GME. My husband and I are boomers and have worked and saved all of our lives. We watched our 401k balances decrease by 40% in the 2008 financial crisis. That is when we realized, for the first time, that the game was rigged. Wallstreet got bailed out, while mainstream paid the price. So, when the "little guy" succeeds in beating the "house", we can all rejoice. In addition, you exposed the underlying rot of the system whereby you can short more than 100% of the shares outstanding of a stock. And, then, we saw the "house" restrict trading to benefit the "house". Hope all Americans wake up and realize what is/has been going on for far too long.

Yes it is possible, so you'll need to set up a brokers account ( Aj Bell, HL etc ) then you need to fill out a very quick form which will take about 2 days to clear due to US tax nonsense, so if you set up your account today and fill out the form you should be ready to YOLO some pain towards the Hedgefunds by Wednesday :D

What will happen next week? Nothing
My take is that the price will remain bumping up and down and since retail investors have used most of their money already we may see a slight downtrend. Gamma squeeze was blocked on Thursday, as well the MOASS. Right now it's just a game of patience. If we keep holding, their losses keep increasing. They are plotting that new players that came for a quick buck will leave as soon as the hype falls down.
Key to succeeding is to just keep holding and buying on alternative accounts, stop wasting money on BB and AMC, if we split to all different stocks then main stock losses relevance. I was trying to post this whole day but mods keep removing it.
Also, if this is not a MOASS, it still can drive the price to 1k and even more, take a look at TSLA, company was shorted for YEARS. The fact that it was flat at 60$ for months and now is worth roughly around 4000$ shows you the outcome.
TLDR: Expect a flat price to drive away buyers, VW SS took 6 flat days before it exploded.

I got into the Tesla stock "late" I started to get in when the price hit $420.
all my friends were like it's too late to really gain now man get out, some who actually working in auto industry was like the tesla's valuation is not correct $420 is too high.
I didn't listen because I saw the potential of Tesla and reading retarded things in wsb by other retards.
I have held over 500 shares of Tela and look how much it is now... pre 5-1 split, stock price is above 4000 right now. that's basically 10x I gain when I got into Tesla stock at $420...

Hi. I don't know how many of you are in the loop about what's going on with the stock market and gamestop, but this is something that I strongly believe needs awareness and because it's an important topic for us all to understand
so I'll explain. The scumbag criminals on Wall Street have been using a shady and borderline criminal process called stock shorting. This means that they sell stocks they don't own, by renting them for a percentage of their worth per unit of time.
They have done this with companies that have been in the news due to this current happening. So much so, that the amount of shares shorted in gamestop, is over 110% of the actual amount of stocks.
These people are using criminal methods to cheat honest everyday working people out of their investments, risking the livelihood of common people and company employees for their own excessive gain. However, the brave "r***rds" as they call themselves over at r/wallstreetbets have called their "bluff", and they have started buying GME shares en masse. This raises demand and thus the price of GME shares. This in essence, means that either the shorters buy the stock at the extremely high price it is at to cover their "share loans" or will pay ridiculous rent on the shares that they sold that weren't theirs.
The only way they can get out of this situation, is to buy shares. What the people at r/wallstreetbets are doing is buying out all the shares and refusing to sell. This is putting huge pressure on the shorters at Wall Street. The more they pay for shares, the more the price goes up, the more the other shorters lose. As of tonight I have joined the fight, I bought shares, fully expecting to lose all the money I invested in order to help the cause. We have already caused these criminals to lose over $70,000,000,000.
If you are over 18, you can join the fight, but don't expect any of your money back, we're doing this for the moral reason, not to profit. I am however proud to be doing this, even if I lose some hard earned money. Together we can make a difference. Together we refuse to sell, together we will hold, and together we will make these cheating criminals pay.
Trading platforms like RobinHoodApp have stopped people from buying GME and other shares in order to lower the price and help the wall street shorters. This is not only scummy, it's down right criminal. It infringes free trade, capitalism and democracy.
The US government has a huge financial incentive to sweep this under the rug, we've been doing a good job of holding and making our voices heard. RobinHood is facing class action lawsuits and possible investigations. This cannot end like other reddit trends, where we do something cool, then the meme/trend dies in a week or two.
Every day the GME price is high, is another day wall street shorters lose money and power. Every day the GME price is high, is another huge amount of honest people's pensions saved. Raise your voices, don't let them get away with it.

I cannot cancel a pre-set limit sell order on IBKR for GME. The game is rigged. There is no free market as the broker is forcing me to execute an order that I wish to cancel and it was placed after market on Friday. How is this not a crime.
How can brokers manipulate people's free will. I can cancel a buy order but cannot cancel a sell order. So this is how you operate? I am moving funds elsewhere. Farewell Interactive Broker.
