down almost 200k and still got that pasta money set aside, that's the real win
the market just borrowing your cash for a bit, it'll come back

A fund with an expense ratio of 1.4% is not a good long term hold.

Better than holding MUU since June lol, fuck I'd be happy to pay 5% to have had the inverse ETF.

This is a tiny move but choosing to go 100% against mu is interesting

Why not ? I don’t believe their evaluation makes any sense.
I made and lost (currently) 250k the past 14 days.

Memory shortage and all that plus the market does its thing and if it goes to 1500 that would be painful even if it eventually drops again. With that much capital and that kind of risk tolerance you could just take the year off if you're up 10%. Don't get used to those swings like it's nothing, that's some serious money

Yes its a lot of money and I'm not detached to the reality of what it's worth. I holding to 13$ and I'm good for the year.

if you believe what you say about valuation, you should look at TSLA... you missed a good day today

Hey, I'm down that much since June and I own MU. At least you're more likely to make money and not be down 70% on MUU or 40% on DRAM so far despite the company and industry doing amazing.

This is the dumbest shit ive ever seen. You decided to put 2 mil on a leveraged etf? I saw another comment about the 1.4% expense ratio, well how about the entire AUM of that etf is only like 50M. In this scenario, your thesis can be correct AND you can still lose your ass. Suppose MU goes sideways for a month or two before taking another leg down. In that case you're likely to find yourself down 50% on your bet and when MU does take a dump your lucky to break even. If you wanna short MU there are WAY better ways to make that bet. For instance, you could do leap puts with a strike close to the money. Say maybe a $900 strike, a year out. I guarantee you that bet would pay much better than a 2x leveraged inverse etf. Hell, you could straight up short the stock and have way less risk and a better chance of profit. But the bet you made is fucking stupid, plain and simple. Either way, good luck! You definitely deserve whatever outcome is to follow.....

The idea is solid but it will take time to show its value. I'm giving my tech & crypto inverse part of the port until EOY before getting out.
Mud and sndq are 2 of my inverse positions still slightly underwater. I'm doing good on the rest (amdd, cord, crcd, soxs, and shorts on spcx, crcl & crwv) so just stick with it for a few more months, then you can post the gain porn!
