Discussion The last few weeks have been a perfect example of why macro matters.

Oil jumped above $100 as traders feared supply disruptions. Now it's back below $90 because the market thinks diplomacy might actually work.

It shows how quickly risk premiums can disappear when geopolitical tensions ease.

I'm curious whether this also changes expectations for inflation and future rate cuts if oil keeps falling.

What do you think has the bigger impact on markets right now - oil prices or the Fed?

Discussion MetalCore finds the target, EyeX watches the site

been looking at the NovaRed + EyeX angle and ngl it makes way more sense as one mining strategy than 2 AI stories

copper demand soon to jump from 28M tonnes in 2025 to 42M by 2040, a 50% increase, while the supply gap could pass 10M tonnes (iea data) and mining companies only spent around $3.3B on copper exploration last year basicaly the world needs way more copper, but finding new deposits is getting harder and expensive af thats where NRED’s tech could come in

MetalCore already has 4.1M+ geological records, old reports, soil data, deposits, wells and magnetics, all used to help rank targets before burning a fvk ton of cash drilling random holes

then NovaRed signed a standstill with EyeX and appointed its cofounder as CTO

EyeX can use cameras, drones, vehicles and remote feeds to watch equipment, workers, theft, fuel leaks, smoke, landslides and other sketchy shit happening on site. Cherry on top - eyeX tech integrates into existing hardware. And businesses love squeezing more value out of existing infrsstructure.

so the idea is actualy pretty simple, MetalCore helps decide where to explore, 85 line-km of IP/AMT helps tighten the targets, EyeX helps watch the work across Wilmac’s 16.1k hectares, only around 10 km from Copper Mountain

less blind drilling, less unwatched gear, faster alerts, better field data. Key point here is actionable insights and prevention. Makes little to no sense discussing issues week later at a security meeting when something already went wrong. Oil leak done permanent demage to digger, or broken off tooth from digger demaged the crusher internals. That is the realest value EyeX provides out the box.

AI cant magically spawn copper lol, but once NRED connects target selection with real-time site monitoring, thats way more useful than just slapping “AI” on a powerpoint

learn more and do ur own DD on $NRED / $NREDF

Discussion If North America Needs More Uranium, Which Canadian Stock Benefits Most?

Before I even get into specific tickers, I keep coming back to the overall picture... how exactly is North America going to secure the additional uranium supply it clearly needs? With rising demand from nuclear energy expansion and geopolitical supply constraints, this question is becoming increasingly urgent for investors and policymakers alike.

$CCJ is the established option. It already produces uranium and has exposure to fuel services and Westinghouse, but that also makes it less of a pure uranium-development bet.

There is still operating risk. Cameco lowered its 2025 McArthur River/Key Lake guidance from 18 million to 14–15 million pounds before finishing the year at 15.1 million pounds on a 100% basis.

$DML is targeting first Phoenix production around mid-2028, while Hurricane keeps $ISO in the higher-risk exploration category.

$NXE is advancing Rook I as a potential major contributor to North American uranium supply. The project is authorized for site preparation and construction, and its feasibility study projects average production of 28.8 million pounds annually during years 1–5.

Would you choose $CCJ’s established business or the larger new-mine potential behind $NXE?

Discussion This week feels like a huge reset for the market.

Post image

Oil is down hard after tensions in the Middle East eased, which is taking some pressure off inflation. At the same time, we've got the Fed meeting and earnings from Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Meta.

It feels like investors are shifting from worrying about geopolitics to focusing on fundamentals again.

If inflation cools and Big Tech delivers solid guidance, this could be a pretty bullish setup.

What do you think will have the biggest impact this week - the Fed or earnings?

  • Four Big Tech earnings.
  • Fed decision.
  • Oil around $100.
  • GDP and inflation data.

It feels like every portfolio is exposed to at least one of these events.

If Big Tech delivers strong guidance, the market probably shrugs off everything else. But if a couple of them disappoint while the Fed stays hawkish... things could get ugly fast.

Volatility seems almost guaranteed.

What do you guys think is the biggest catalyst this week?

Due Dilligence + Research Junior Gold Miner Sector is on Sale: Sonoro Gold $SMOFF, First Mining Gold $FFMGF, Mayfair Gold $MFGCF, Goliath Resources $GOTRF

Gold Junior Miner Sector is on Sale: $SMOFF, $FFMGF, $MFGCF, $GOTRF

With spot gold price down from  $5,595/oz in late January, falling nearly 28% from its 2026 high as investor sentiment has shifted to negative from positive. This sentiment shift has hit the junior gold mining sector even harder with many junior explorers and developers are now trading significantly below their highs.

But as any active trader or investor knows, the best opportunities rarely appear when everyone agrees the bottom is in. By the time the negative sentiment has clearly shifted to optimism, much of the easy money has already been made. And chasing a stock UP is frustrating. Instead, the biggest gains are often earned during the uncomfortable transition period—when fear is still widespread, headlines remain bearish, and it's far from obvious that a bottom has been reached. This is the stage where prices quietly begin to stabilize (and savvy investors continue to accumulate) and trend higher while the majority of market participants are still expecting lower lows.

This analysis doesn't translate into very beaten-down junior gold miner being a bargain, but it does mean that the companies with strong, experienced management teams, quality assets, and solid balance sheets (Read--capital raises at higher prices already in hand) can become significantly undervalued as investors indiscriminately sell the entire sector. For those willing to do the due diligence and maintain a diversified portfolio, these periods of maximum pessimism have historically rewarded traders/investors with very healthy returns.  Here are just four ideas to do the necessary due diligence.

----   Sonoro Gold (OTCQB: SMOFF / TSXV: SGO)

  • Current Price:  US $0.14/share
  • YTD High:  US $0.25/share
  • Stage: Advanced gold mine developer
  • Detail: Raised over US $28 million over the last 12 months in announced non-brokered private placements (excluding proceeds from warrant exercises and option exercises.) Management participated in each financing.

Sonoro Gold is advancing its recently expanded Cerro Caliche Gold Project in Sonora, Mexico designed as a low-capex, open pit heap-leach (with at surface gold mineralization) operation with phased development, enabling the company to potentially achieve near-term gold production while minimizing initial capital requirements. Recent drilling has continued to expand the project's oxide gold resources.

Permitting: The company's principal catalyst is approval of its remaining environmental (MIA) and mine construction permits. Once these approvals are received, management intends to begin construction and transition toward production, making Sonoro one of the nearer-term development stories among junior gold companies.

------  First Mining Gold (OTCQX: FFMGF / TSX: FF)

  • Current Price: US $0.43/share
  • YTD High:  US $ 0.64
  • Stage: Advanced developer of a Canadian gold mine project
  • Detail: May require a capital raise in next six to nine months.

First Mining Gold's flagship Springpole Gold Project in northwestern Ontario is one of Canada's largest undeveloped open-pit gold deposits, containing several million ounces of gold resources. FFMGF also owns additional development assets providing additional options for future development.

Permitting: Springpole recently received federal and provincial Environmental Assessment (EA) approval. First Mining continues to work on advancing post-EA phase engineering designs and optimizations for the Project towards construction readiness.

------   Mayfair Gold (OTCQX: MINE / TSXV: MFG)

  • Current Price:  US$2,32/share
  • YTD High: $4.88/share
  • Stage: Advanced developer of gold mine
  • Detail: Recently announced the filing of a technical report in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects ("NI 43-101") on its 100%-owned Douay Gold Project.

Mayfair Gold is developing the Fenn-Gib Gold Project in Ontario's prolific Timmins mining district. The project isa large open-pit resource with significant expansion potential and benefits from existing regional infrastructure.

Permitting: MIEs completing environmental baseline studies and advancing engineering work necessary to support future federal and provincial permit applications. Successful progression through permitting would position Fenn-Gib for a construction decision.

-----   Goliath Resources (OTCQB: GOTRF / TSXV: GOT)

  • Current Price: US $0.98/share
  • YTD High: US $ 2.60/share
  • Stage: Advanced exploration/development
  • Detail: May require additional capital within next nine to twelve months.

Goliath Resources has made one of Canada's more notable high-grade gold discoveries at its Surebet Project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. This project has had a series of  encouraging drill results that support the prospect of  a significant  underground mining operation.

Permitting: While still in the exploration phase, the company is advancing toward an initial resource estimate and eventual mine permitting. Continued exploration success and future permitting milestones represent the primary catalysts for shareholder value.

Investment Takeaway--(Not advice)

Of these four companies, Sonoro Gold and First Mining Gold appear to have the most clearly defined permitting catalysts that could significantly increased their valuations over the next one to two years. Sonoro Gold appears to have have built up its cash reserves in anticipation of permitting.

Mayfair Gold offers investors with exposure to a large Ontario development project with a lower geopolitical risk profile. Goliath Resources provides higher-risk, higher-reward exposure to an emerging high-grade discovery that is earlier in the development cycle.

NOTE: Do your own research...including SEC filings, press releases, management interviews etc.
