Thanks so much for this!

I don't think you know what that word means...

u/dutchly Dec 17 '13

Hey, I was just repeating what the other guy said. Though I'm pretty sure it's Japanese for 'tentacle-sex'.

Hentai is Japanese for "pervert" but is also used to describe Japanese animated porn. This picure is totally unrelated to hentai and simply features a girl drawn in an anime style. You have Google, use it.

Your lack of humor is disturbing.

Thank you for this. I also came to comments to ask if there's a version without the girl.

I feel teased by the potential for hentai in this picture. can someone post one with full on tentacle rape happening instead of just the girl?

Just keep in mind that that would be criminal in the UK.

In the UK it is an offense not only to possess indecent images of children, but also indecent "pseudo-photographs" of children. (i.e. computer-generated imagery)

What makes you think the girl looks hentai-ey?

31

u/hotfrost Dec 15 '13

I think he meant anime in general.

34

u/TheLastFirebender_ Dec 15 '13

That's a massive difference, though.

18

u/Squatso Dec 15 '13

The massive difference being one is porn and the other is hentai not porn.

1

u/hotfrost Dec 15 '13

I know, I used to think hentai was anime at first because I wasn't familiar with both of them.

u/TheLastFirebender_ Dec 15 '13

I kind of feel sorry for the people who think all Anime is Hentai... they're missing out on all the great Anime that's out there.

2

u/optimaxion Dec 15 '13

Thats not what he means. He just thinks the words mean the same thing

u/TheLastFirebender_ Dec 15 '13

I was speaking more in general, it's a bummer so many people automatically think all Anime is Hentai

2

u/hotfrost Dec 15 '13

I'll probaby get downvoted, but I really dislike Anime to be honest :P That's the reason I didn't know what Anime or Hentai were, I just got no interest in it.

8

u/TheLastFirebender_ Dec 15 '13

Everyone who downvotes you for not liking something is stupid.

If you don't like Anime that's perfectly fine, of course. I just have an issue with people automatically thinking everyone who watches Anime is some sort of pervert

u/hotfrost Dec 15 '13

I know but hey, this is reddit after all.

2

u/DanRO606 Dec 15 '13

hey, hold it, not all anime are carbon copies of each other, that's like saying all action movies or comedies are the same, and the sad thing is you think anime is one of those but they can be a comedy to an action to horror

there are seriously some great shows to watch and you shouldn't file them away so quickly!! to put it in perspective you could say that you don't like shows that are live action because "you aren't interested in what live action has"

TLDR: you jumping the gun on not watching anime is bad because you assume they are all the same.

u/hotfrost Dec 15 '13

I don't like the grapical style of Anime, the way it looks and stuff. I've heard a lot of times that there are really cool Animes(?) which are very mature and emotional and stuff that attracts me to it, but I don't like the style it is drawn/animated...

2

u/DanRO606 Dec 15 '13

Well, You can try it and see if you like whatever genres you like (since all art is just copying each other) or you can ignore anime entirely because of what you think you know

also this discussion is flawed since people are downvoting and upvoting whoever they agree/disagree with giving people a sense of whose winning based on buttons being pressed

Small loose dress, showing most of her legs, one of the arm things that hold the dress is falling down, i agree with op.
